There is a market called Sunday Market labelled as Chor Bazar of Ahmedabad set at the River Front near Sabarmati River in Ahmedabad...
As of now my MI Classes are started , we travelled to this Sunday Market with every 1 having 100 rupees in their pocket which they need to spend to buy at least 3 things useful to the individual and at reasonable cost by bargaining or in business term which is called by negotiating and adding to it , at last a average of 20 bucks should be left with each...
We started to look at the market and chose the objects which we liked and which we were willing to buy.....
As per my knowledge , Though not a businessman , My Dad is the best bargainer/negotiator I have ever known, Adding to it I also remember a show on Nat Geo which taught the ''Million Dollar Formula'' by which we can become millionaire , the show displayed that one of the main equation of this formula is about negotiating , they showed 4 different ways of negotiating which I used on adding to some simple principle of bargaining that my Dad used.
There were many shops rested on ground with extra-ordinary objects , like , a used toothbrush , seeing to it we were like who the hell is going to brush with that used toothbrush , at last our teacher told us that we can use it in multiple ways such as cleaning a rusted iron object , using it in spray painting and many more multiple uses which never dropped on our mind at that time....
Sometimes , we all gathered at same shop and were willing to buy the same object and as a result , the shop owner increased the cost considerably and through this I remembered two business formula which our social studies teacher explained us but we never gave importance to it that :-( More Supply + Less Demand = Less Cost ) And ( Less supply + More Demand = More Cost )
I am always interested in Business Deals so this venture was quite interesting for me but my friends were badly bored.....
Atlast I bought some object as:-
A pair of rounder costing 20 bucks = I bought the pair for 5 bucks
A crafted scroll of Goddess Laxmi costing 10 bucks = I bought it for 5 bucks
A book on Business Ethics Indian Version ( Probably used by commerce students) costing 100 bucks = I bought it for 90 bucks
As this is Chor Bazar , It is a Market of 2nd or 3rd hand objects , the prize of each object were much higher then they marked but though we negotiated .....
The pair of rounder costs 30 bucks , the scroll 20 and the book may be more then 150 or 200 bucks.
Though it was fabulous experience for me , but I actually wouldn't win as I didn't saved a single buck but I badly wanted that book(though I didn't pretended so) because it contained valuable information about stalks and business .....but it was a very good experience and I and my companions have actually being known about negotiating........
